The Icy Frog is a Limited Liability Company (LLC) that is the property owner of the old Farmer’s Ice & Fuel Company located at 105 Elm Street in Prosperity, South Carolina. The building is made of granite and was built in 1934, being used as a fuel station and ice house for the town. At the time of the photo above, it was Jack Robert’s 76 Station, being used as a gas station and repair shop. Later it became the home of Craig Hipp’s Towing and Repair. In 2000, it then became the home of Mike’s Repair & Welding, LLC, owned and operated by Michael “Mike” McCullough. Upon his passing in 2025, The Icy Frog LLC was established to preserve the ice house with hopes to restore it.
