The Icy Frog is a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) that was established as the property owner of the old Farmer’s Ice & Fuel Company located at 105 Elm Street in Prosperity, South Carolina. The building is made of granite and was built in 1934, being used as a fuel station and ice house for the town. At the time of the photo above, it was Jack Robert’s 76 Station, being used as a gas station and repair shop. Later it became the home of Craig Hipp’s Towing and Repair. In 2000, it then became the home of Mike’s Repair & Welding, LLC, owned and operated by Michael “Mike” McCullough.

The Icy Frog LLC was established in 2025 upon the passing of Mike. Bringing together the history of the town and the structure, the name seemed fitting. The overall goal is to restore the ice house and add to the charm of Prosperity.
